I am getting all this unable to deliver emails from the list. Also, some
are to peaple that are PC dwebs, surly not on the PowerComputing List ...
but ARE in my Address Books ???

Sounds like a virus to me. I have been off line for nearly a week. The
computer would crash when I tried to open Netscape or Apple Works. Since I
am 1400 miles from my home base ... and all my spare S/W ... I ordered the
latest Nortan Anti-Virus and AppleWorks ... Much to my chagrin, the latest
Norton Anti-Virus is the same #$%^& thing I already had.

At this point, I'm sure this is a Virus. I've run Tech Tool PRo, Disk
Warrier ... Norton Utilities until I could Scream ... and every thing else
in my traveling kit.

Dear hearts, I haven't had a Virus on a Mac since 1986. The Norton site is
so $%^&* PC concentric I've been unable to find out if they are aware of a
new Mac Virus or have any updates in the wings.

Last week, there was an email in my box with no name or subject. It was 4:00
in the morning and I was so imsomnia rumdumb, it was opened before my brain
started to function. AS soon as it opened, reason kicked in and I closed and
trashed it ... but methinks the harm had been done.

We Mac folk have been so lulled in a false sense of security, smugly smiling
at the woes of the Gotes Guppies, it has ill prepared us for this splash of
reality. I'm now so parinoid, there will not be anyattachments opened on
this box ever again ... If I'm awake and aware.

What's the drill on eliminating any new virus or getting to a point that one
can be sure their hard drive is disinfected?

Right now, I'm as confused as a newbie with a 3D program. Sorta like a dyke
at a circle jerk.
