g-3 upgrade question

i have a power tower pro 180 and i am trying to instal a Newertech G-3 
300 in it. I've installed the software pop in the card, reset the cuda 
for 30 seconds zap the PRAM and i get nothing!.   card works fine in an 
8500. Can anyone help?
