You can speed up web surfing on Power Computing machines and older Macs by:
1. Allocating more RAM to the application, at least 16mb
2. Setting the disk cache to ZERO mb.
This translates to pages not being cached and therefore less time is spent copying the pages/graphics/content to your slow hard disk.
If you are feeling really adventurous, you can set up a RAM disk and set your browser to store the cached pages there.
Also, having a faster hard disk and CPU helps :)

these daysWe still use our Power Tower Pro 250 as our main computer. One of
now, it'swe'll get time and energy to upgrade the processor, but for right
well. Slowgot lots of RAM and handles my Illustrator and Photoshop work very
systemon the internet, though. We won't get rid of it even if we buy a new
stratospheric inone day. I'm grateful that drives and stuff are no longer
price.
