Are you sure it's the power supply? A while back, I thought I had a bad power supply. When I checked out the situation to see what would be involved in a replacement, I unplugged the (MOLEX?) connector, put it back in. Did the same thing with a couple of other connector. Then I decided, while I'm at it I might as well check all the PCI boards, the processor daughter card, the memory sticks and whatever else was connected to the motherboard. Put everything back, and found that my trusty old workhorse was just fine again.
Hans (no I'm not German) San Diego P.s. Be sure you wear a ground strap, connected to the computer chassis, and preferably antistatic gloves, when you touch any of the electronic cricuits. HOWEVER (from experience,) NEVER touch anything that is inside a power supply enclosure. hw -----Original Message----- From: Power Computing List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of mark ray Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2004 3:16 PM To: Power Computing List Subject: Re: Power supply for a PowerCenter 132?
