Very interesting. If only you could get a driver for a PC Firewire 
internal  CD-RW drive. I could make one of my PTP's very sexy.

I bought a HP internal CD-RW on ebay. It was pitched as  a Mac item. 
After an hour of contacting HP sites ... I found there was no driver 
for it that worked on a Mac.
ebay, Pfffftttt !
