Four Questions:

1. Is there a CPU upgrade available (240+) and where can it be purchased?

Get a G3 upgrade as mentioned. Ebay or the LEM swaplist are good places to look. New upgrades can be found as well but will cost you.
Macs are RAM hungry so look around for more RAM also. OWC has great prices for used RAM and upgrades in general for Macs.

2. What kind of modem works in the PCI slot? All the ones I tried were PC/Win and none worked.

As mentioned, no PCI modems for Macs. Macs have always been designed for networking so modems are an after-market item. Any external serial Mac modem will work. There are lot's of used modems for $10-15.00. I have used US Robotics, Zoom, and BestData external modems with no regrets on any of them.

FYI: I think the iMac was the first Mac to have an internal modem option from the factory.

3. Is there a tower case available for this that would clear the ports on the motherboard? If so, where can I obtain one?

Most of the clones are built in generic ATX style cases. You can put it in an ATX style tower case but the "universal" port covers probably won't work so you will have to improvise. Duct tape works for covering holes ! ;-) Look around at the cases available and you will most likely find one that will work.

4. I have a Falleron network card installed. Is there any way to get this to communicate on a PC network (plugged into the network hub).

See Greg Olsen's answer.

Thanks. Ken Martin

PB 180 with Apple CD-ROM, Apple Keyboard and soon to have 128 meg of memory. I'm really getting to like this little guy.

Good Luck !
