Most powerbase components are easily replaced by off-the-shelf PC components. Doubly so for fans.

Take the fans out and measure them in mm. Make note of their power connector too.

Any good electronics shop will have replacements. If you like to shop online, I like www.jameco.com and www.frozencpu.com

I have no connection with either of these places other than being a satisfied customer.

Anyone know if a power cooling fan from either a Performa 7200 or a PowerMac G3/266 will work in a PB 180? The PB 180 has a cooling fan for the processor and one on the power supply. Mine on the power supply is shot and I'm trying to avoid having to go out and buy one. I have these two older Macs sitting around and not working so hopefully the cooling fans from them could be substituted in the PowerBase? But, should it become necessary, where do I turn for one for an old PB? Are these parts still available? Thanks!
