Hi all
I've used XpostFacto to get X 10.2 running on my PTP 250, well it has a [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 50MHz bus speed and 512megs RAM, plus two SCSI raids, 1 of 2x9GB, and 1 of 2x4GB, and the OS X install is on a little 2GB drive. I would not have used this little external drive but I had it around, and frankly I didn't think X would run this nicely on this TT128 with no acceleration, or that I'd like it this much. This OS makes up for there not being a real Amiga OS being developed by a real company with money anymore :-)
Anyhow, I can't find how to make iMovie capture video on the big, empty SCSI array versus the tiny, slow HD that the system is on. The raids are on an Adaptec AHA2940UW SCSI card, its all 68 pin too. I went so far as to copy iMovie to the RAID and run it from there, even deleting the one in the system folder. Is there a command line argument I can change? Can I change icon tooltypes (like on the Amiga) through some not-readily-apparent way that I don't know about? I just want to grab video onto the fast drives. I am sorta shocked that they don't provide a way to do this, I've never worked before with a program where you couldn't change the destination drive.
Thanks!
Bolton
