Mariah, you didn't indicate if you had the C-500 or C-600 UMAX. I
have the manual in digital format somewhere for the C-600 if that's
the one. Also, You did not indicate if your were talking about
wireless internet connection among the two computers or as Barry
indicated just networking for printing. Net gear claims their
hardware (For MACs) is compatible without additional interface
hardware. You can go to their site and here's the router of choice
for high speed connection but you should go back to the router
selection process to be sure
(http://www.netgear.com/products/details/DG834GT.php) and they walk
you through from a starting point to what you are linking and then
what you need. It's worth a look. I have the info for the D-link
router also but that router needs additional hardware. I don't know
what you are paying for AOL, but DSL Extreme now offers DSL for 21.95
monthly which I think is lower than AOL's cost for dial-up. If and
when you change you would need the router (includes a firewall) for
security and the newer units have some spam reduction and other
benefits as well. All the best, Ray
