I'll take it if he doesn't want it! Longtime LEM listers will probably remember my Amiga related rants on the Umax list :-) Before OS X, nothing multitasked like my Amiga-back in the day it totally embarassed my wife's 040 Performa which had twice the ram as my 040 Amiga. Then I ran Mac OS in emulation-still an embarrasment to the poor Performa :-(
Later on when I worked for the latest incarnation of Amiga, Incorporated in Snoqualmie Washington, they ran out of money and quit paying their hands, in my case, about seven months worth before my belief in the dream was overcome by my need to pay rent and maybe save my marriage..
I had to sell my maxed out A3000T :-( It had the CyberstormPPC 233/[EMAIL PROTECTED] accelerator in it, plus the CybervisionPPC 3D graphics card addon which connects right to the Cyberstorm's local bus. It paid the rent for a month, but I never got over its loss.
I have a Pegasos with MorphOS, that runs much of the more modern, system friendly Amiga software but the stuff I love best is the old-school hardware bangin' AGA demos. Just you try that 24bit illumination and ultra-smooth scrolling on a Pentium 90. See how far you get ;-) I can run UAE, but it just isn't the same and many of the Euro demos still choke it.
So, I'd be happy to pay shipping of course, or pick it up if you're local..
