Weeks back, I wrote of intermittent giant icons on the desktop when booting
up my PCP 210 w/400MHz G3 card. There were many suggestions. but one person
suggested that the video accelerator card could be the culprit. His email
has been lost, so I regretfully he can't be credited with horns and other
Fan Fare he has so rightly earned but, I think he was exactly right.

As it was intermittent with no pattern, I couldn't pinpoint the problem.
However, after doing some Sherlock McGoofus observation of cause and effect,
methinks I've confirmed it has something to do with the video card.

If it is booted up with out turning the MAG 19" Monitor on, After boot up
and the monitor is turned on: the desktop is giant every time.

The video card in slot A1 and is an ATY, mach64_3D_pcc -
model ATY, GT-B
rev. 65
vendor ID: 1002

RHB

Discovered that when riding my motorcycle, I don't feel old.
