Please read it all before you reply... After many years of repairing and acquiring spare parts for my macs and others, it's time to get rid of it all! I am remodeling the basement, so all the stuff has to go. I have boxes of stuff.... If you are in need of a specific item, please email me directly OFF LIST at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I will gladly send you the item for FREE if you pay for the shipping and a $1 handling charge per item (it takes time to sort through all this stuff, I have to package it and drive to the post office). I would rather send it to a good home than throw it in the garbage. I don't have enough time to ebay it all. If someone is a member of the LEM (low end mac) list, you can post this there as well. If somebody wants to offer a bid on the whole lot, send me your zip and I will attempt to give you a shipping cost. Most single items should be under a pound and therefore be send via first class mail for under $3, anything over 13 ounces will be send via priority mail starting at $3.85. Most items are genuine mac (some Asante, Adaptec, Advansys: known mac compatible manufacturers) and should be compatible with power computing systems.
Some items in the collection:
6100 85Mhz accererator chip (can't find the fan that goes with it or the software disk, no soldering required)
5200 motherboards and many parts like ethernet cards, tv tuner, video out for external monitor, av modules
Cables galore: scsi, serial printer and extension cables, phonenet, auii-Ethernet adapters, coiled keyboard cables, serial to DB25 ??, serial to DB9??, AVmonitor breakout cable, might be a DOS card monitor cable (4 ends), HDI laptop scsi adpater, laptop video cable (2300?),
Cards: pci ethernet (various brands), a few PDS video cards (61xx, 71xx, 81xx), PDS G3 (got on ebay, couldn't get it to work in a 7100, not the right software?), Advansys scsi, Adaptec SCSI (might be PC cards, not sure if you can flash them to MAC, 2940 series) a couple old PCI powermac CPU cards (601 100Mhz, might be another in there somewhere)
Chips: ROM simms?, RAM mostly 72pin simm 4/8/16Meg, Cache simms/dimms
Misc parts: 1400 laptop clear cover and spare pcmcia holder, 3.5 and 5.25 beige drive sleds, 8500/9500 power supply to motherboard cable, 6100 power supply, 9500 power supply, a couple weird firewire-scsi boards, Farralon ethermac appletalk to ethernet adapter (intermittant).
I WOULD APPRECIATE if you could supply a very accurate description of any item you are looking for as well as a photo or a link to a website with a photo OR an apple part number if available. As all this stuff is give away, I cannot guarantee the working condition or compatibility with any existing system you have. Compatibility is solely your responsibility as well as any software requirements. I have no CD's or Floppy disks for any of these parts.
