I've had no PowerComputing problems for quite a while. My problems are with an eMac (700MHz G4} that I tried to upgrade OS10.2.4 To OS 10.3. 9 (Jaguar to Panther). Now realize should have left well enough alone.

I keep every thing of value on my PTP and now just use the OS X rig for email.

OSX is a solid gold pain in the posterior. Now wish I'd have saved my money and bought a Sonnet 800MHz G4 card for my PTP. WAIT, I do have a problem on the PTP, though it's not PowrCmpting specific. With Outlook express, I cannot get email. Opening the internet control panel and entering my name "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" then below that puting in "mail.cowtown.net". After closing the panel ... and then reopening it. The name portion has dropped all but rbtbcm. Below that is @[EMAIL PROTECTED] Does it every time. I've cleared all internet preferences and started over to no avail. Three times I've done that. BTW, it's the same thing with Netscrape. I can log on to the ISP and get on the net just no email. Netscrape won't save my email addresses. I have the receipt for Eudora in my files and could download it ... Again ... but it seems so primitive. It and Mozilla are rather problematic also.
