Dear list members,

I'm looking steps forward to boot a PowerEdge C6145 after many
failed boot attempts. Help of any kind will be greatly appreciated.

The problem is that each (hard) re/boot cycle ends with the power-on
indicators turning amber, first blinking-amber during a dozen of
seconds, and then after going solid-amber.

The hardware manual reads: “Amber – Blinking: BMC Critical condition
event in Power On mode S0/S1; BMC Critical condition event in Power Off
mode S4/S5” (p. 20). That's the only entry related to power I've
CTRL+f-ound in the manual. It seems the server encountered a critical
condition, and there was indeed a shortage of power supply before the
first boot failure. Is that the right direction to search for the
problem's origin? If so, what should be done to overcome that
condition? What to do otherwise?

Thanks for your help,
Eric.
