I'm contemplating abandoning PowerMail should I go Intel. This may
happen soon. Obviously, I'd prefer to continue to use the best
application for email.

This must happen some day, but I can live with the 2GB limitation if
PowerMail only  would stop corrupting the DB when you hit 2GB. Or refuse
fetching after the third warning or something.

The rest of your requests would be nice, but except "Separate Print and
Display font control" I can live without them. 

Also, I don't understand why the cursor should default to the beginning
of a draft email message rather than the end. Assuming that was what you
meant with "cursor positioning". I don't that would mean much in
incoming or send messages. Perhaps the best option would to default to
the last held position.
