Won't help, as the message itself is fine. After a rebuild the message
is still there and clicking on it still crashes the program.

The solution I finally "came up with" was to wait for enough messages to
come in to cause the problematic email to not be visible in the pane, at
which point I could click in the pain, select all and delete (this was
in my spam folder, so that was safe-ish).

PS: paypal is a great way to accept payment; it's % is reasonable (3%
vs. 2.25-2.75% plus fees, etc. that often add up to over 4% if you
accept credit cards directly) and allows users a multitude of payment
options (paypal $, cc, echeck, etc).

If I could trust paypal I'd stop using my credit card processor and save
over $100 each month in additional fees, but there are too many people I
know who had their merchant account, all all $ in it, frozen for the
smallest of reasons. Pity. (but, then again, great for the customer...
so tough call).

PMS saved me once as well, although I also have to agree that the UI
leaves a lot to be desired. Backups are your best bet in all cases.
