First off, which version of iPhoto are you using and is it the freebie version or one of the commercial iLife bundled versions? The earlier free ones, version 2.x, required a patch. I can't speak for the later free versions. The commercial iLife versions (4 & 5) work with PowerMail without a hitch. I have been using PowerMail with iPhoto for about 2 years.
