With the delivery of my iMac to replace my 7500, I switched to PM 5.x. Before upgrading I transferred my PM 4.2.1 over. It ran well, crashing once for a reason that I don't remember. Since moving to PM 5, I can not search my database (about 65 mb) properly. Search returns a few of the 'hits' but only those in recent mail. And asking PM to 'Update Search Index' doesn't work.
Looking in the PM support folder I can find the index and Spotlight cache files. Neither has been updated since I stopped running PM 4.2.1. Should I trash them both? Or will that upset PM further? -- Charles PM 5.2.3 - Intel iMac - OS 10.4.4
