Receipts on RFC mail is a joke. The only thing a receipt will tell you is if the destination mail system received the mail. There is no "read" status on RFC mail. On a closed mail system like Lotus Notes or MS Mail, there can be because the server knows when the mail was accessed, but that type of technology wasn't thought of when RFC mail started. Wayne
