Stuart, Just to let you know that we have tested PowerMail 5.2.2 in depth on Intel-based Macs and the performance is even better than on PowerPC, through Rosetta. I suggest you try it.
One component that can significantly be accelerated however is our PowerMail Spotlight plugin, and we will be announcing a universal binary version of that with the next point release.
