Problem of PM not sending emails solved by Disk Warrior.
None of the suggested solutions, such as 'purging outgoing
queue', switching user environments, de-installing recently
installed virus protection software etc., enabled me to send
emails from PM. Though I appreciate everyone's help.
Yesterday I received the latest Disk Warrior update on CD,
which enabled me to boot the problem iMac G5 running
OSX 10.4.3 from the DW CD. My previous version of DW
on CD wouldn't allow the iMac to boot. Ran DW, which
found lots of problems, and everything's hunky dory now.
Saved the report, which I haven't examined yet for mention
of PM faults or repairs, and will certainly offer to send this to
Jerome, who no doubt will find something relevant.

Merry emailing

Brian
