I did that earlier today so thats about the 5th version of PM in about
4weeks this machines on to fix problems.

No, the other user of the machine can start up his own (as it happens
blank DB), or when I shift the DB over to my own machine, I can start up
my own PM, but when I switch users and try and access this DB I get the
same crashy problem.

Nope it just locks solid
