Yes, I've done the same, but it makes me a bit uneasy that I now don't get notification of genuine problems connecting to the server. But I notice that one of PM 5.2's features is: "A new method is used to determine when the computer is connected to the network; this may fix some difficultes when PowerMail tried to connect immediately after wake- up." So maybe an upgrade will help? TimH
