For some reason, first you have to copy the "current messages" property
to a variable. Try this:

tell application "PowerMail"
        activate
                set messageList to current messages
set msg to the first item of messageList
set theText to the content of msg
set the clipboard to (theText as string)
end tell

(Note also, 1st "item" not 1st message)

Why do you censor your adult movies? If you can show some people sitting
around a table enjoying a meal, then why can't you show people enjoying
other things?
