Generally: I'm not denying that PM has its issues, and some serious ones as well, and some that I'd like to see implemented sooner than later (see my "Intelligent Folders" suggestion a long time ago, which - funnily - seems to now going to be picked up by Apple Mail). But the search speed of Foxtrot is the most useful thing for me. For raw speed, I'm currently not believing Spotlight will be an advantage unless I see it myself (for searches across different assets, not just email, lack of speed may be outweighed by the result). I have 180.000 messages in my Database. In my company, I'm the only one using PM, but all people here keep the same message database in their clients (all messages are distributed to all of us). Need I say more than that often, people call me to perform a search for them in my email database for some keyword and tell them the message date so that they can locate it just by scrolling in their date-sorted browser and do not have to perform a search themselves (which would take them minutes)? Regards, Christian.
