How 'bout a compromise of sorts.

For those of us who like plain text email and those who want some minimal
html markup. See if we can get CTM to integrate Markdown conversion. That
way simple formatting will be available as plain text input.

I know it's more difficult than it sounds but I'm wondering if an
AppleScript set for outgoing could grab message content run it through
Markdown.pl and return the HTML fragment to the outgoing message.

I have no idea how PM would handle sending HMTL fragments so it may not work.
