I just reinstalled Panther, and moved my PM files from the other computer I had been using while I had been trying to figure out what was wrong with this one (bad Panther installer disks,, had to get replacements from Apple). Now I seem to be unable to send mail... or rather to COMPOSE a mail in PM,, either 5.13b or 5.1.. I've tried both several times.. I've compacted and reindexed , etc.. I used the PM key to validate or whatever it''s called.. it *may** have been working for the brief time period prior to using the key.. my memory is vague here.. <G> I tried trashing the preferences from my user library.. Is there another prefs somewhere else I should be looking for?? How can I DL and start clean again?? or will some other rebuilding method help??
