For the few email quotes that I do, I simply create a PDF first, then attach that to an email. For larger or more often used emailing quote systems however, this wouldn't be an option.
I'm not sure how Intuit or MYOB decide on what email client is deemed "acceptable", and other than the one workaround, I know of no way to change this behavior.
