Hey all,

I forget if I've reported this in the past, but in setting up and testing
some filtering on my SMTP server I've come across the following diagnosis.

When attempting to send an outbound message, PowerMail will hang
indefinitely (sending message...) if the SMTP server sends a 5xx status
(i.e. failure) after the DATA transaction. The user is forced to click
the cancel button to abort the send, and the server response (e.g. "550
sorry that is infested with a virus") is never displayed.

Of course PM seems to behave properly if the 5xx is received after RCPT
TO or MAIL FROM, but seemingly not after the DATA. I (and many others,
presumably) use inline scanning of the msg body to potentially reject the
delivery during the SMTP session. Presumably PM is blindly waiting for a
2xx "message accepted for delivery" and not acting on a failure here.
