What I do is, I get all the first 5K of each mail, have them filtered by spamSieve (which moves spams to a spam folder), then the only "manual" part of it is I quickly check the spams folder (presented by spam level, lowest first) to be sure they all are spams, then I select all and delete, then I reconnect and PM will automatically delete all the spams I just deleted locally. If you are more confident on your spam filters, you can modify the filter action, to say delete immediately all spams with a spam level above xxx, and reconnecting will automatically delete them also on the server...
