Sorry for this Off Topic question, I am hoping that somebody on this list might have enough experience and/or knowledge to be able to answer a List-server related question.
Wondering if anybody on the list has an idea what could cause the problem: I've got a family list (since years), recently when my father (in Switzerland) replies to a message (of mine, generated in PM) that had been sent out from the list, his reply never makes it to the list. The error message he receives is as follows: ------- Reporting-MTA: dns; mail-fs.sunrise.ch Received-from-MTA: dns; namejouef4b8ww (62.167.104.154) Arrival-Date: Sun, 8 Aug 2004 13:34:29 +0200 Final-Recipient: rfc822; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Action: Failed Status: 5.4.0 (other or undefined network or routing status) --------- Replies from e.g. my cousin on a different server in Switzerland work just fine, so I don't think it is our server here causing problems. He forwarded me the error message which arrived as a German written email with a .dat file attached which contains the German message translated into English (see above). The error message is really cryptic for me and next to that it's a bit hard for me to troubleshoot my dad's laptop and his email settings across the ocean and over long distance, I know he is using MS Outlook on a PC - so now I am not sure if it's some setting on his computer, his server or just heaven acting up. Any other ideas then dancing nacked under full moon? Thanks, ---marlyse
