I just discovered that PowerMail v5 can send & receive AOL mail via an IMAP server. :-)
http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/ This is really nifty, as I don't like having to use a separate program just to deal with AOL mail. What I noticed is that because it's using an IMAP style connection, the messages all vanish when you disconnect. That's not what I want & it means that AOL can delete those whenever they feel like it. If I drag the IMAP messages from the AOL inbox folder (in PowerMail) to another folder they are copied. Cool. Now how can that be automated? I tried setting up a Mail Filter: IF Account IS my_aol_acct IF Status IS Unread Execute actions if all conditions are met Actions: Move message into folder: "zAol inbox". But it doesn't work. Any suggestions or solutions? Do mail actions apply to IMAP mail? Best, Dave Nathanson
