I'm not that technically minded but willing to learn. This gives some idea of the problems and how to solve them. I reckoned the problems with Japanese, and I'm sure likely to repeated with other non latin languages, was the encodings used on their email clients by senders. Or possibly web browsers when used for sending mail but I've no evidence. The majority of users probably have little idea of encodings, preferences and so on which makes it difficult to explain how they can correct problems. With help from the Full Header in PM I should be able to locate the main cause and perpetrators of these problems. Regards, Brian Jacobs
