What do you mean by 'last address fails'? Is it an address which is not well formed (e.g. no @ sign or properly formatted domain or IP address in the address), or an address that is actually present at the destination IP's mail server or with a non-reachable destination (e.g. DNS not resolvable)? In the latter case one would get an automatic reply from some MTA, but the mail would go out anyway from PowerMail, so this doesn't have anything to do with PowerMail failing to send out an email. In the first case it would actually be good for PowerMail not to retry (as obviously the mail address doesn't get any better by simply retrying). I was initially referring to a situation where for some reason the SMTP server doesn't work as expected. Simply retrying would be a good thing here, from my point of view. Olaf Druemmer
