I think I have just realised my mistake. I didn't set another critical
parameter, detailing exactly which email should go where. I have now set
things thus:

<To>        <contains>    <listname>
<From>    <contains>    <name>

<Move message into folder>    <Mail Trash>

just tested but nope - still not working properly....
