I saw something once about PM deleting attachments when you delete a message, but can't find anything about this in the Manual or Preferences (perhaps it should be a user-selectable preference?)
Does it? I am concerned, as I often drag the attachment from the message window to some folder to keep it, and I'd hate to have it disappear unexpectedly in the future. Perhaps my ideal situation would be for it to delete attachments along with messages, UNLESS the attachment had been moved. I was impressed that PM updated the attachment name in the message window, after I had dragged it somewhere and renamed it, but this also verified that PM knew where I had put it, and could still "get it" if it so desired. I also experimented by option-dragging it, and it seems to have made a copy, instead of just moving the file. Is that correct? Thanks, --dave
