I have sent myself several Hebrew emails (via GyazMail) coded ISO 8859-8,
set PM preferences for undefined incoming mail to ISO 8859-8 with
language family Hebrew, and used mail > encoding > iso 8859-8, but I
still receive question marks. Moreover, PM crashed about 6 times, once
even crashing the whole OS, once I managed to force quit it after 5 min,
when changing the text encoding or opening the mail under discussion.

Am I doing something wrong here?

I assume the ISO encoding is a safer bet than Mac Hebrew settings,
because most email will alas come from Windows users.
