An idea: Create a new account (which may hold the exact same data as your "regular" account) and name it e.g. "Send, don't keep". Now when creating a message you do not want to keep, use that account instead of the regular one. The only thing you now would need to create once is an outgoing mail filter: [x] Filter outgoing messages Conditions: [Account] [is] ["Send, don't keep"] Actions: [Move message into folder] [Mail Trash] This has the advantage that, depending on your trash settings, you might even fetch it back for some days after sending it. In everyday action, the only difference is that instead of popping up a send action submenu to choose "Send without keeping", you'd popup the accounts menu to choose your "Send, don't keep" account, which is not even more work than if this funcation was built-in.
