Hi,

is there a way to re-find an attachment to a message whose link got broken?

Case at hand is that after upgrading to PowerMail 5 beta, some
attachments to messages are indicated as "not found" (showing in grey)
when indeed they are short-named files that still reside in PM's
attachments folder as they used to be.

Sometimes for e.g. re-directing such a message, PM tells me it cannot do
it because a required attachment was not found. But the only choice in
that dialog is "Ok", where I'd really like to see an additional choice
"Find..." that lets me choose that file manually and thereby re-create
the attachment link. After all, it's actually still there, with the same
name, at the same location as it used to be, in the Attachments folder.

Being able to do this also for any other email in the database that has
lost the attachment link would be a very useful addition, IMO.

Or is there a way to do this using AppleScript, which would probably most
appropriately named "Re-find message attachments"?

Regards, Christian.
