I had to switch back to 4.2 instantly after this problem became obvious.
The account which uses AUTH smtp is my company account over which I send
all of my outgoing mail.
The mail server is located at one of the biggest web space providers here
in Germany (www.schlund.de) and I'm quite sure that others will have the
same problems too.
