I've written a Digest bursting script. You can find it at Wayne's PowerMail page at the link below.
Unfortunately PM doesn't deal well with MIME encoded digests so to use the scripts effectively you must ask the mailing list software to send you non-MIME encoded digests. The scripts will then automatically burst the digest into individual messages.
