I recently moved to a new PowerMac G4 with Classic (9.2.2) as well as OS X 1.3 from a G3 iMac..
Altho I had no trouble installing the saved address and message databases on the 9.2.2 Classic version of 4.2.1, I find that after I downloaded the OS X version, I have not been able to install these databases on the newer PM. Can someone tell me just what steps are necessary? Dragging and dropping does not seem to work. I am entirely at sea with Panther and could use help. Are there any special steps needed in the Mail Accounts and Set- ups? I've not gotten to filters which have just disappeared. Meanwhile, I'm using the OS 9 version of 4.2.1 that I brought along and installed. -- Judy Beiss
