I had an identical problem earlier this week, tho the issue was with the
letter 'j', so I suspect that the actual letter is not the issue. My
workaround was to type into the address field rather than the name field,
and then I added the new name and address into the address book.
I also did the "File > Database > Compact" and "> Rebuild Index" at that time.
No idea what caused the problem or why my kludge made it go away, tho.
