Just t add to the body of facts, I'm using Stuffit 7.0.3 with the PM/OS configuration below and my stuffit checkbox at the bottom of a message works fine. So I'd say that it's not a simple case of Stuffit being broken in PM 4.2.1 under Panther, but must be a more complex combination of factors.
