Thanks for your info. I think this is a bug in JP locale. I just found out that I can type Japanese characters but not single-byte ASCII. Very weird. I can't even copy/paste to this field even if multi byte. The only thing I can do is to type multi-byte Japanese, which by the way sticks but no use, of course :-( -- - Hiro [PROTECTED] <[PROTECTED]>
