Two things to check: 1. Do you have "View > View Unread" selected? If so, change it to "View > View All". That one gets people rather frequently, but more likely you're talking about this: 2. Go to "PowerMail > Preferences... > HTML reader" and check "Enable HTML reader" Your message probably has a plain text component and an HTML component. This preference will allow you to preview the HTML. PowerMail handles HTML through the renderer that Apple provides, but it's basically a plain text e-mailer. If seeing HTML is deathly important you may want to consider another mailer. But if you can get things done alright with plain text messages (a lot of people do!)
