I have come back to PowerMail after a month or so with Eudora 6 (a many-
year Eudora user who was converted to PM last winter, and just had to see
what was new and exciting at the ol' alma mater!)

I have to say, PM is a LOT more elegant! Thanks, team! But it is also a
lot slower at a number of processes... esp. emptying the trash type
stuff. Seems that moving files is considered heavy lifting. Not a big
deal, but notable.

I have a wishlist.

1... Transfer mail. AFAIK, currently the only way to move mail from one
box to another is via drag'n'drop. I dunno about you, but I have missed
my target more than once... what a pain. Also, I have a lot of mailboxes
and folder/subfolders... can be a pain to navigate. A menu item that
would transfer selected mail to a folder listed in the menu would reduce
both those problems.

2... Stationery. I often used stationery in Eudora.. because it was easy
to access. Not so easy in PM. There is room beside the 'clippings' icon
in the compose window!!

3... Reply. Can we add 'Reply using Stationery'?

4... Junk filtration. Eudora 6 now has a 'Junk' filter based on Bayesian
algorithms... absolutely brilliant. I didn't know spam could be KO'ed
that easily. I realize that there is SpamSieve available on PM.. but it
lacks (imo) the transparency that the Eudora implementation has.
Fortunately, I really only have one email addie that is chronic for
spam... so what I have done is that I now do not collect it in PM, but
occasionally launch Eudorato collect the mail from that account.

Anyhow.. a few things I thought might improve PM even more.

I learned there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead, and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready, you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with ME!
