You'd think there was a way to recognize the message is hung or at least timeout on these things. Even if PowerMail in OS X eventually hooks in to the new-Safari-whatchamacallit-renderer over the current one, PowerMail for OS 9 and below would still benefit from some kind of safety net. (n.b.: This is not a cry for HTML over text. Just an observation to keep the spam at bay. Potentially corrupted messages too, but... we know it's spam! ;) Chris --
