I got so tired of this, especially with international versions of "Re:" that I wrote a script to change them all to "Re:" and to get rid of those pesky "Re: Re:"s. If you didn't want anything it would be a simple change to the script. It also will remove those "listserv prefixes" from messages. I wrote the script so that my email client would sort the messages properly.
