The first menu item in the scripts menu gives you the ability to delete
messages immediately.

The PowerMail Extras script library for Frontier had the functions you
want. Like filtering messages more than x days old for deletion. It is
still available if you work with the old free frontier 5.0bxx at <http://
sw1.storms.org/dlds/PowermailExtras/PowermailFrontierOld.sit.hqx>

The new version of Frontier is $899,- and it doesn't have menusharing
anymore, so the Powermail Extras menu does not show up in PowerMail.
However, I have a PowerMail Extras tool for use with the newer Frontier
or with Radio Userland (the low cost Frontier). I have not come around to
testing all the scripts. Most should work, some don't. Download at:
<http://sw1.storms.org/dlds/PowermailExtras/PowerMailExtrasTool0a0.sit >

If you like you can test drive Radio or Frontier for free, see <http://
radio.userland.com> or <http://frontier.userland.com>
